CHRIS TASSOChris Tasso is a partner and co-director of NY Tennis Academy at Great Neck Estates and shelter rock tennis camp. He has also been a manager at the US Open for American Express Momentum from 2012-2016 where he manages a tennis program for the AMEX card members.
He brings to the academy over 15 years of experienced coaching for all levels of player ranging from all ages.
He was also a collegiate coach at Queens College from 2009-12. He has helped the Knights to four consecutive NCAA Division II Championships Round-of-16 appearances, and bestowed the 2011.
Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II East Region Assistant Coach of Year award. Additionally, he was director of tennis at Queens College's indoor tennis program and director of Summer Camp Program while he was there.
Tasso, who has also coached nationally ranked junior players, was a four-year starter (1999-03) for then-head coach Alan Landes at Queens College.
He won MVP and Most Improved praise from his team at various points in his career while attending Queens College.
WILLIE NOTARWillie has been here at Great neck Estate Tennis since 1986. He played college tennis as St. John's University and then played the ATP tour for 4 years where he was ranked in the top 300 in the world in both singels and doubles.
He has also been the Head Tennis Professional at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Great Neck for the past 30 years. He has worked with a number of top junior tennis players, but primarily works with adult tennis players now.

MARVIN JEFFERYMarvin, Senior Teaching Professional at New York Tennis Academy at Great Neck Estates.
He has been a standout tennis coach with more than twenty years experience, training high performance juniors.
He is currently coaching numerous tournament players and attends many junior events in the Eastern section.
In addition, Marvin is competing in Men's Open Tournaments and local leagues and is ranked among the top players in his age group.
"ROCKY" PARMARTechnical expert, keen observer, funny guy. Rocky was born in Pune India and started playing and enjoying tennis since the age of 7. He continued to play throughout his youth and reached the State levels in India. Because of his love and passion for the sport, he continued his career as a Tennis Pro in the United States. He was active in playing USTA league tennis.
He is a fierce competitor and brings expert level skills to the court.
Rocky has been part of the Great neck Estates Tennis pro staff since 2005.
He brings his knowledge of the game and passioante energy to all his lessons regardless of age or skill level.
He has proven effectiveness by observing techniques and offering drills necessary to achieve the individual tennis game goals.
Rocky has a light hearted personality and distinct laugh which makes him popular with both junios and adults alike.
In addition to individual, group and junior camp lessons, Rocky is part of the GNE Tennis Club Management Staff and is the Tennis League Director.
BRIAN STEINBrian, one of the co-directors of New York Tennis Academy and Shelter Rock Tennis Camp.
He has been coaching all different levels of players for more than 20 years.
He has instructed at Fila Sports Club in Long Island City, West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, Cunningham Tennis Club, and the Bay Terrace Tennis Club before making his way to Great Neck Estates.
Along with Howie Arons, Brian has directed many summer tennis camps including Terrace Tournament Training Tennis Camp, The Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York Tennis Camp at The Wildwood Racquet Club in addition to the Shelter Rock Tennis Camp.
Brian brings extreme energy and motivation for competitive play to all his lessons.
His teaching expertise ranges from beginners of all ages through turnament and collegate players.
