We emphasize the fundamentals of proper technique, form, and footwork. Our coaching staff ensures that your child learns and enjoys the game of tennis while working to improve. Whether your child is wielding their first racquet or is already competing in tournaments, we have the ability and experience to support their growth by boasting a cohesive team of highly experienced coaches who are skilled, certified, and most importantly, Safe Play screened.
This consistent approach has resulted in a lasting legacy of success as we have proudly produced over 90 NCAA D1/D2/D3 Players, 250 Top 100 USTA Eastern Ranked Players, and 1,000 High School Players. No matter what, there is always more to achieve, and we are driven time after time to help each player be the best they can be.
The New York Tennis at Great Neck junior program is designed to provide a clear development pathway for young athletes. Our program is carefully structured to provide age and level specific training to ensure players are maximizing there potential while having fun and developing invaluable life skills:
10 & Under Pathway in Association with Net Generation:We feel the building block years of development in tennis are from the ages of 10 and under, as this is the time to set up the proper foundation. This program helps develop correct technique and fundamentals using appropriate sized courts, rackets, and low-compression balls. The emphasis behind this is to ensure our young athletes can progress through the different stages of tennis in an easy and enjoyable way, without limitations.
Junior Development PathwayDedicated for either players new to tennis, those who'd like to play recreationally, or those who need to develop their skills in order to move into competitive training programs.
Competitive TrainingThis program provides the necessary technical, strategic, strength, conditioning, and mental training for players competing in sectional, national, and international tournament play.
